Grupo de Investigación de Oncología Médica cuyo objetivo fundamental es la investigación clínica y traslacional en diferentes tipos de tumores, así como la investigación básica en colaboración con otros Grupos de Investigación del IIS Aragón.
Grupo muy activo también en investigación en el ámbito de asesoramiento genético en cáncer hereditario, psicooncología e identificación de biomarcadores predictivos para eficacia de diferentes terapia antitumorales (sobre todo inmunoterapia).
Importante implicación en el desarrollo de Ensayos Clínicos en pacientes con tumores sólidos del adulto, con nuevos fármacos y estrategias, en distintas fases de desarrollo y diferentes estadios de la enfermedad, sobre todo de ámbito internacional, pero también dentro de Grupos Cooperativos de Investigación independiente nacionales e internacionales llevando a cabo estudios académicos.
