EIT Health – Innovation Validation Call 2026

The call is for innovative digital and AI-powered medical technologies that are an Innovation Maturity Level (IML) 6 and ready for clinical validation and market launch. Selected projects will be awarded funding to run pivotal clinical studies, collect real-world evidence to demonstrate safety and efficacy, apply for regulatory approval and prepare for market commercialisation.

Consortia of at least two organisations from different countries representing at least two sides of the Knowledge Triangle (industry, research, education). A commercialising company must lead the project. Read more here about the framework.

EIT Health will fund up to 50% of the total project budget, with up to EUR 850.000 per project. It will be awarded for up to 24 months for activities enabling clinical validation, regulatory submission, product finalisation, market readiness and commercial strategy.
