31 julio, 2025The mission of the Simons Foundation Autism Research Initiative (SFARI) is to advance the basic science of autism and related neurodevelopmental disorders.
The applications that will be funded will be the ones that use previously collected data that is publicly available, either by open or controlled access, and are relevant to the basic science of autism and related developmental disorders. The data can be a range of different types as long as investigators justify their choice and the relevance to SFARI’s mission.
The total of the project budget is USD 300.000 over a two year period.
Eligibility
- All applicants and key collaborators must hold a PhD, M.D. o equivalent degree and have a faculty position or the equivalent at a college, university, medical school or other research facility.
- Applications may be submitted by public and private institutions, with no citizenship or country requirements.
- Simons Foundation and Flatiron Institute employees who receive a W-2 may not apply as a principal investigator.
