Lilly has programs for considering external requests for Lilly provision if study drug and/or financial support for Investigator Initiated Research that it initiated, designed and sponsored by external researchers. It considers such requests based on scientific merit and strategic fit with their own areas of research interest.

Areas of interest:

• Oncology
• Immunology
• Headache & pain
• Neurodegenerative diseases
• Diabetes & obesity

Considerations:

• Novelty, including the potential impact of proposed research
• Expertise of the external investigator
• Feasibility of the proposal, including the ability to integrate internal and external work plans

There is no set deadline and you can send in requests year-round.
