12 diciembre, 2025Research grants are open competitions grants given to support the best dermatology research projects worldwide. They welcome applications for research projects that improve the understanding of underlying medicinal, biological, chemical or pharmacological mechanisms of dermatological diseases and their symptoms. They also welcome applications for projects that address clinical issues among people who are at risk of developing or have developed a skin disease, including how it impacts their quality of life and the societal costs involved.
Grant terms and conditions:
- The grant shall be applied for in writing using the application form on the public website of the LEO foundation
- The Grantee will act as a primary contact with the LEO Foundation, and will be responsible for proper usage of the Grant from a scientific, financial and legal perspective
- The Grant will be paid out to the university, hospital, institute or other legal entity at which the Grantee is employed
- The Host shall make staff, equipment, facilities and other resources available for the benefit of the Grantee
Scientific and financial reporting:
- No later than 1 month after each anniversary of the commencement of the Grant Period, the Grantee shall provide the LEO Foundation
- No later than three months after each anniversary of the commencement of the Grant Period, the <grantee shall provide the LEO Foundation with a report on how the funds received under the Grant have been applied during such Project year, based on realised use of such funds
There are three deadlines:
- Round 1: 8th January 2026
- Round 2: 19th March 2026
- Round 3: 25th August 2026
