4 agosto, 2025ESCMID’s research grants offer up to EUR 20.000 per project. The grant can be used for the entirety or specific aspects of your project.
To apply, you must me a member of ESCMID with a Young Scientist or LMIC membership.
Your research project can include laboratory investigations, clinical studies, experimental animal studies or a combination of approaches. Projects usually last from 12 to 24 months, starting from the year the grant is received. If your project is aligned with the specified criteria, it will undergo a peer review process, and those better ranked will be selected.
Eligibility:
- Serve as the principal investigator for the proposed research project
- Hold a valid ESMID Young Scientist Membership (YSM) or ESCMID low-or-middle-income country (LMIC) membership
- Have a medical degree (MD, MBBS, PharmD or equivalent, a PhD or be actively enrolled in a PhD programme
